{"id":108,"date":"2018-05-12T03:20:40","date_gmt":"2018-05-12T03:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/create.twu.ca\/awalkinthewoods\/?p=108"},"modified":"2018-05-12T18:15:27","modified_gmt":"2018-05-12T18:15:27","slug":"survey-says-leadership-questionnaires","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/create.twu.ca\/awalkinthewoods\/survey-says-leadership-questionnaires\/","title":{"rendered":"Survey Says&#8230; Leadership Questionnaires"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Survey Says &#8230;<\/h3>\n<p>Can leadership abilities, traits and styles really be revealed by answering a few questionnaires? \u00a0I was curious to find out just how close the results aligned with my own self conception.<\/p>\n<p>The style questionnaire revealed I perform almost equally at the top of the high range for tasks and relationships. \u00a0I was a little surprised that my results were equally spread out in Leadership Theory and Practice. I scored 25 in Technical Skill, 27 in Human Skill and 26.5 in Conceptual Skill. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-110 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/create.twu.ca\/awalkinthewoods\/files\/2018\/05\/survey-image.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"205\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I wanted to make sure that the responses to the Leadership Trait Questionnaire really were an honest reflection so I asked some colleagues from my former school team, my current school team and my significant other to fill them out. The results were consistent, all 5&#8217;s except for 3&#8217;s and 4&#8217;s in self confidence and self-assurance. \u00a0It was confirming to know that others view myself and my leadership traits the same way I do.
