After further exploration, I discovered that anchor.fm does in fact embed their player when the URL is copied and pasted into a NEW blog post, however, it does not embed when it is pasted into a blog post that already has a player embedded on it. However, after waiting for a long time, the player never actually played the audio. I tried to test this in a browser where I am not running any ad blocking extensions, and the audio still did not work.
