The simplicity of the concepts of process, identity and time were easy to understand and can apply to any leader-follower relationships, not just in a businesses context. <\/p>\n<p>My back ground is in healthcare which I think is similar to a business in certain aspects.  I am a leader to a group of staff and it is my responsibility to carry out the organization\u2019s vison, procedures and tasks.  In addition, I have to hold my staff accountable and encourage them to support that same vision.<br \/>\nYou highlighted in your post, \u201cTo achieve a change in process, managers need to focus on the outcome not the process.\u201d I couldn\u2019t agree more with this statement.  Although I am not a manager, my obligations are to ensure quality patient care is delivered by staff in a way that meets organizational and nursing standards.  The outcome is always quality care for the patients and families we serve.
