Hello! My name is Daniel Martinez and I’m a husband, father, and pastor. I’m married to the love of my life, Gabriela, who just so happens to be an ESTJ while I’m in INFP…but by God’s grace we have made it through \ud83d\ude0a. I also have three beautiful children who have brought so much joy (and headaches)\u00a0<\/em>to my life. I thank God every day for the wonderful gift that they are, even in spite of the many difficulties that come with being a father of three, but it’s well worth it!<\/p>\n I am currently the youth pastor serving at Faith Community Church. I mostly work with students from 6th-12th grade and post-high, but also serve the church as a whole in many different areas. The philosophy of our ministry is listed in the banner frame above – love God, love people<\/strong><\/em><\/span> – and our youth group name is\u00a0illumin8<\/em> taken from the passage found in\u00a0Matthew 5:14-16.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n When I’m not working, I enjoy going on walks with the family, going out to eat, watching movies, exercising, playing Xbox, making YouTube videos, and learning new things.<\/p>\n My life goal is rooted in 2 Timothy 2:15<\/em><\/strong><\/span> which says “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”<\/em> We live in a world that is so lost and desperately looking to find answers and meaning to life in everything but God; my calling is to point those lost people to Jesus. Young and old alike are in need of God’s saving grace found only in the person of Jesus through faith in Him.<\/p>\n That’s it! That’s about all that really makes me…well ME!
