Awareness encapsulates the understanding of oneself and the impact one has on others. While self-awareness in the psychodynamic approach is where a leader deepens their understanding of others and helps them to relate to society. (Bennis and Thomas,\u00a02002, p. 40) also describes it as a transformative experience through which an individual comes to a new or altered sense of identity (Northouse 2016)<\/p>\n<p>Moses Ndahiro serves as Rwanda\u2019s Country Director of World Relief. He oversees a very busy operation country wide. He is also one of my best friends and a peer mentor to me. Moses\u2019 awareness and emotional intelligence quotient is very high. He has an exceptional capacity to listen, empathize and immerse himself fully in your problem in a bid to help solve it. He will explore different options as well as ask deep questions in a bid to find solutions to challenges. People who engage with Moses always feel deeply understood by him.
