When we break leadership down into the categories of influence, power, and process it is tangible. Everyone can understand influence. Every moment of each day we have several small interactions with people, every interaction is an opportunity\u00a0to influence.\u00a0 Power can be used for the personal gain in a destructive way or it can be used\u00a0to build your followers into who they were made to be. The process is the evolution of an idea, the execution. Viewing leadership as process\u00a0understands that it is an ever-evolving\u00a0idea with unlimited possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>In my professional life, I have seen many different types of leadership. Recently I experienced the power-hungry leader who was working towards her own capital gains. It was extremely difficult to work under her leadership. When you stop treating people as human beings the environment becomes quite negative and stagnant. I have also been blessed to experience servant leadership in my professional life. Lately, I find myself comparing the\u00a0different leadership styles of leaders past.<\/p>\n<p>In my experience leadership has always been about the journey. What brought you to the journey?
