I agree with you that servanthood is at the core of leadership. I agree with burns that it is the core responsibility of a leader to increase the moral capacity and intelligence of their followers. Ethics and transformational leadership have a symbiotic relationship; they benefit from each other.\u00a0 In a team orientated atmosphere to function at maximum capacity you must be able to serve each other. To be able to fill in gaps where someone else\u00a0is weak is advantageous for the benefit of the team. Some things are not my core strengths that are part of the job\u00a0I have learned to do. There are other tasks I must delegate to my team members because I know they will do it better.<\/p>\n<p>Transformational servant leaders goal is to develop their individual followers and help them succeed and achieve their personal goals. A great TSL will seek out and find what tools are needed to make the individual successful. By imparting their knowledge and experience to their followers, a leader helps team members grow.<\/p>\n<p>In your post, you talk about building a community as one of the most critical aspects. In my current role, I love this idea but have no clue how to go about it. We currently have many partnerships\u00a0with different health organizations. Maybe\u00a0there is a way to improve these existing relationships and build community? Is there any knowledge you have about how to build community within a large organization?
