In reading your words I can relate to being satisfied with meeting a goal being short lived. I find myself always looking ahead to the next goal and the next goal. Materialistic lust I feel is a product of living in today\u2019s society. In the digital storm of social media marketing, it is almost impossible to not give in to materialism. I am constantly convicted of this. What I have learned is when I compare myself to others, I become miserable and withdrawn. The feelings of not being good enough, of not doing enough to succeed well up within me.<\/p>\n<p>Marquis\u2019s words are a reminder to stop looking outside of ourselves in material things for contentment. Being grateful for and appreciating the things we do have without comparison is where contentment lies.
