Hello All, my name is Kamal. I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by profession. I also teach Psychiatric Nursing at Stenberg College. LDRS501 is my second to last course in the MALead Program. I am married and have two children, son is 14 and daughter is 9. I Work full time as a care coordinator with Fraser health, Mon-Fri. I take it day by day, plan ahead in order to get through with school work, teaching, full time job, and not to forget I do help out my husband at his clinic once a week as well. I have survived so far, can’t wait to finish my school.
Hi Kamal!
Glad you got this all worked out.
Thank you for persevering; which I knew you would. The rest should be easier as we move through the process and investigate the discoveries ahead.
As always you have a full plate and a wealth of experience to share with your team and the course.
I look forward to your engagement and with being a part of expanding the learning with your team members and course mates.

Thank you for your response to my post. I am feeling more at ease right now. I hope this will be easier next week. Thank you for the encouragement and believing in me. I am very grateful you have the opportunity to have you guide and facilitate my journey once again.
Hi Kamal! It looks like we are both starting our journey. This is my third course in MALEAD. What was the other course you have taken? I appreciate and share the desire to finish school. While I am finding it very valuable – it is extremely hard to balance all the different things I am juggling. When I got back from TWU in the summer I had a very honest conversation with my boss about the boundaries I needed to place around work. I hope you are able to do the same. Keep pressing on! We will be in this together!!

Hello Lillian, thank you for your response to my post. I am glad you were able to discuss boundaries with your boss. I am only taking this course, but I am teaching an online course to nurses but glad it’s only 6 weeks long and has two weeks left. I don`t plan on taking another teaching contract now until next year March when I am done. I find it is too much. I definitely look forward to working with you all and learning from each and every one as much as I can.
