{"id":4801,"date":"2018-10-13T10:59:08","date_gmt":"2018-10-13T17:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/create.twu.ca\/ldrs501\/?p=4801"},"modified":"2019-10-30T09:04:54","modified_gmt":"2019-10-30T16:04:54","slug":"week-3-instructor-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/create.twu.ca\/ldrs501\/2018\/10\/13\/week-3-instructor-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 3 Instructor Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Week 3!<\/p>\n<p>This week you enter the third week of the course and into a new posting topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 3 &#8211; Post 3.1 instructions<\/strong> are listed in <strong>Week 3<\/strong> of <strong>WordPress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The categories for the BLOG posts are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ldrs501<\/li>\n<li>post 3.1<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The posting patterns for the Week are as follow:<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE USE THESE GUIDELINES FOR BLOG 2 \u2013 WEEK 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Post 2 \u2013 Week 3<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nThe posting pattern for online discussion uses a compacted online posting pattern:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Posts are limited to a <strong>three post maximum<\/strong> per Discussion Week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Starter posts in Week 3 are limited to the following posting pattern:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All posts<\/strong> require a <em>substantive response<\/em>* to <strong>ALL<\/strong> questions\u00a0(Four [4] questions for Week 3]) asked (including sub-questions), in the following pattern.<\/li>\n<li><strong>First posting<\/strong> is limited to <strong>ONE<\/strong> member from each team <em>(as decided by team members, excluding post leaders for Week 2)<\/em> of the cohort, acting as this week&#8217;s <strong>Post Leader<\/strong>, posting a substantive response to the questions posed AFTER 6 am Week 3 \u2013 Day 1.\n<ul>\n<li><em>i.e. 1 post leader only from Education Team 1, 2, Health care team 1, 2.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Post Leaders<\/strong> will also <strong>add an identifier<\/strong> regarding the team they represent in the title of their post.\n<ul>\n<li><em>i.e. Servant and Strategic Leadership Tools ET1 (ET1 for Education Team 1), ET2, HC 1, 2 as it relates to the team you belong to.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Post 2 \u2013 Week 3 \u2013 Post Leaders<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>First posters become the post leaders for the week<\/strong> and must post their first response to the questions posed fully and completely <strong>by 23:59:59 of Week 3 \u2013 Day 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Post leaders<\/strong> will post <em>one substantive response<\/em>* in responding to posts from other cohort members to their First Post to the question for Week 3 by <strong>Day 4 @ 23:59:59 of Week 3<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Post leaders<\/strong> will also post <em>one substantive response<\/em>* to <strong>one other Post leader thread<\/strong> outside their own by the <strong>23:59:59 on Day 6 of Week 3<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Post 2 \u2013 Week 3 \u2013 All Other Posts For Week 3<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>All other cohort posts<\/strong> for <strong>Week 3 <\/strong>will provide a <em>substantive response<\/em>* to <strong>1 post leader and 2 other posts from cohort members<\/strong> <em>(3 posts total)<\/em> <strong>between Week 3 \u2013 Day 2 @ 23:59:59 and Week 3 Day 6 @ 23:59:59.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Post Responses<\/strong> will also<strong> identify the post<\/strong> they are responding to <strong>by adding an identifier<\/strong> regarding the post they are responding to <strong>in the title<\/strong> of their post.\n<ul>\n<li><em>i.e. My View of\u00a0 Servant and Strategic Leadership Tools ET1 (ET1 for Education Team 1), ET2, HC 1, 2 as it relates to the team you respond to.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Learning Activity 3. 1<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Learning Activities<\/strong> replace in class teamwork for face to face coursework.
