I second her opinion about the role of parents in contribution to education systems. I believe they have the most important part in it. The constant pressure on students by parents to excel and be better than others is the reason they do not try new things. School kids, therefore, dread thinking critically and taking risks for fear of failing. Instead, keep following the track of elders in the desire of achieving similar results. \u201cMen are like sheep, of which a flock is more easily driven than a single one\u201d- Richard Whately. As mentioned by Senge, we often look for people or circumstances to blame, to avoid this following an already successful path is the only choice left. The solution I think of this problem and correct me if I am wrong begins with the change of the frame of mind. As you mentioned that students\u2019 having the mindset of being a nail grows up to become the one\u2019s leading systems now, it is at that level the change needs to begin to let coming generations be free of the burden and function to their fullest potential.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Atha, D.
