Well we made it to Reading Week!<\/p>\n
If you are feeling like I am, it seems we have been at this for longer. (sigh)<\/p>\n
But the good news is there are no posts required this week.<\/p>\n
You may still need to work on other things in the course within your team environments.<\/p>\n
Sunday @ 23:59:59<\/strong>, your Team Assignment 1<\/strong> is due in the PressBooks<\/strong> environment.<\/p>\n You may also be starting your work on Team Assignment 2 in the coming week as well, if you have not started already.<\/p>\n As a reminder on your Team Assignment 2 I am re-posting the information from last week’s update.<\/p>\n Team Assignment 2<\/strong><\/p>\n For Team Assignment 2<\/strong>, you require a completed consent form<\/strong> from the real time organization you wish to interview, before interviews begin<\/strong>. This is available in Moodle \u2013 Topic 0 \u2013 under the heading Team Assignment 2 Consent Materials.<\/p>\n The form only requires a signature and return to you before the interviews begin.<\/strong><\/p>\n Once you receive the returned consent form<\/strong>, forward it to me via email<\/strong> so I can keep the record for TWU\u2019s Ethics Review Board.<\/p>\n If your team decides to do a theoretical review<\/strong> by using public information gained from websites and other public documents, you do not need to obtain permission<\/strong> for the research you conduct. If you interview anyone<\/strong> in the organization you review, consent is required<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Next Saturday<\/strong><\/p>\n I will post the requirements<\/strong> for your Week 6 BLOG<\/strong> posts and the ZOOM link<\/strong> to the November 5<\/strong> opportunity to meet with me online to ask any questions you have as we progress through the course.
