Also, lack of communication is the mother for the birth of conflicts too. As stated, “Conflict will happen no matter what, and it can’t be avoided, but how we communicate our concerns constructively has an impact on conflict outcome” ( Kamal Badesha, 2018). This is so true as in a company if the manager is following transformational servant leadership ethics and values, he is a hero in the eyes of some people and Willan for others. There are always two types of people in every organization. One who praises others because they are happy from inside and others applaud because they are jealous and showing happiness due to their self-interest. It is true that if everything is going right, it always means that something very wrong is happening.

Developing better and effective communication is a must in every arena. As a failure to do so could even be fatal. A very appropriate example of lack of communication is given by Lepsinger (2010) that

The anesthesiologist’s job is to maintain the patient’s vital signs, so naturally, when he saw the blood pressure drop he administered a drug to get it back to normal. Upon seeing a rise in blood pressure, the surgeon requested another dose of the first drug. The anesthesiologist complied with the request, and when he saw the pressure rise again, he administered the drug to boost the pressure. Unfortunately, the lack of clear communication between the surgeon and the anesthesiologist went on until the patient died. I believe that if the meetings are for organizational development, it is better to be paid for but if it is for self-development, training and learning new pathways of resolving tough situations, it would be joined on voluntarily basis. Because attending those meetings and spending time without getting paid would help us to analyze better the importance of change and how much it is necessary to resolve internal conflicts which is not only affecting the organization but also to oneself.

References:

Badesha, K.
