It looks like you have a lot on your plate as an administrator and your company is not giving enough credits to the employees. Also, you mentioned the organization is having trust issues with every worker (Kunal, 2018). The committee is just adopting ideas they think are suitable for the organization without taking into account the employees. According to Lee et al., a leader who promotes knowledge sharing and trusts their employees adds to team effectiveness (p. 473). Lack of trust leads to disengaged employees which further affects their performance and outcomes. One way I think your organization can benefit is by having informal meetings where the leaders and the staff has a chance of opening up to each other which may help in building trust. I would love to know what you have in mind to change the things in your workplace.

Another thing that caught my attention was dental and administrative workers are focusing on their respective departments and correct me if I am wrong but that might lead to a lot of chaos as they work co-dependently. I would be surprised if there are no interdepartmental miscommunications because of the lack of coordination between the two. If so, how does your organization handle those situations and isn’t that time-consuming task which affects the efficiency of the organization?

Self-management would not work in our organization (Kunal, 2018). I beg to differ at this point; personal competency consists of self-awareness and self-management (Ungerer, M., Ungerer, G., & Herholdt, J., 2016). In my opinion, both of them are crucial because they give a sound understanding of the self. Effective self-management leads to the success of both individual and organization ( Manz, C.C., & Sims, H.P., 1986). It assists in knowing our shortcomings which leads to skill development and proceeding with more confidence and effectiveness which in turn benefits the whole team. Let me know what insights you have regarding the same.

References

Lee, P., Gillespie, N., Mann, L., & Wearing, A.
