It not only helps to prioritize work to run a company better (Kunal, 2018) but also ensures that everyone on the team is on the same page and assists the employees to work together in the same direction. One easy way to accomplish it is by opening talking about the job requirement and expectations of the organization from an individual staff member. As Lepsinger mentioned, not assuming that everyone knows what your plans are and paraphrasing to make sure you are understood properly helps in developing clear and transparent conversations (p. 127).

Prioritizing work is equally important. Trying to achieve and focus on too many things at a time overwhelms the employees, and they lose focus of the ultimate bigger picture. Therefore, the leader must direct and orient their team members and set a sequence and pace of work (Heifetz, R., & Laurie, D.L., 2001).

References

Heifetz, R., & Laurie, D.L., (2001). The work of Leadership Retrieved from:

Click to access The20Work20of20Leadership2020HBR.pdf

Lepsinger, R.
