However, other sites showed up, that I wasn&#8217;t even aware of, such as homesandland, amazon, artistsplay and linken. Then a multitude of others!<\/p>\n<p>This exercise really raised my awareness of my activities online and the potential lack of privacy while even doing some basic browsing and searching online. I learned how to go to my settings in Chrome to delete cookies, clear my cache, and adjust my privacy settings. Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/create.twu.ca\/ccbeau\/2018\/09\/12\/tracking-the-trackers\/\">Christina&#8217;s post<\/a> on this and her suggestion about installing <a href=\"https:\/\/disconnect.me\/disconnect\">Disconnect for Chrome.<\/a> I will be looking into it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This activity was enlightening!
