Hi!
My name is Omolewa Ahmed. I am a Nigerian. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, a post graduate diploma in banking and finance and Master of business administration. I schooled both in Nigeria and the United States of America.
After a brief stint working in the bank, I started my own private business about twenty years ago. My business interests currently cut across healthcare, microfinance, agriculture as well as indoor and outdoor food and catering services. I manage all these concerns via the LEAH group which is a conglomerate of profit-making organizations that I founded.
The LEAH GROUP comprises of; The Medical center( Hospital & Diagnostics), LEAH heights enterprise, LEAH Multipurpose cooperatives, LEAH Farms and Laviva thrills.
Asides business interests, I am very passionate about addressing the social welfare, health and educational needs of vulnerable people in society especially women and children. I founded the LEAH foundation specifically for fulfilling this extremely important aspect of my life’s calling. The foundation operates strictly as a non-profit organization. The foundation runs a Children reception home where we care for disadvantaged, abused and orphaned children
I cannot but also mention my passion and love for my faith. I am the visioner of a faith-based ministry – God’s Mercy Solution Ministry, the ministry is into rural evangelism, taking the love of God to the forgotten.
I am happily married to my husband of 23 years and I am a proud mother of five lovely children. My husband’s active involvement in politics further places me in a peculiar leadership position. My hobbies include reading, travelling and cooking.
The above description makes evident the tremendous leadership burden which I am faced with. It is indeed a huge undertaken to manage several organizations with diverse interests. On a regular basis, I provide a clear sense of direction by constantly re-defining our corporate objectives, vision and strategy in collaboration with a team of other professionals.
