Open for Reading Break

Following Friday’s early closure due to snow, Alloway Library is open from till 6PM today.  Here’s a picture of the campus from the Archivist’s window, close to the campus campanile before the snow plows started their work.

For the rest of Reading Break, till March 4. the library is open:

• Monday- Thursday 7:45AM – 8:00PM
• Friday, 7:45 AM – 6PM
• Saturday 10AM- 6PM
• Closed Sunday February 25 and March 4

“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”

Or, to paraphrase: “Neither snow nor (freezing) rain nor impassable roads nor lack of snow-ploughs stays these library folks from dedicated service to their appointed patrons”
