In response to rising COVID-19 case numbers, Dr. Bonnie Henry, BC’s Provincial Health Officer, announced that it is now the expectation that individuals will wear non-medical masks in all indoor public spaces.

On October 30, TWU issued the new masking expectation in spaces that we move through, as well as where we spend prolonged time, including the Norma Marion Alloway Library.

Masks protect others from the virus that you may be unaware that you are carrying. The new mask expectation is an added layer of protection; though, it does not replace the requirement to physically distance.

If you have questions, please visit TWU’s COVID-19 informational page.

When in doubt, wear a mask.

We are in this together. Help keep our community safe.
