February 17, 1978: Ground-breaking for Fraser Hall, named for the explorer Simon Fraser. The residence was to be ready for occupancy in time for the fall term. Archival records indicate that an Open House and Dedication were planned for Sunday, November 5, 1978.<\/p>\n
