I listened to a podcast recently by Charles Stanley where he spoke about finding our purpose and never retiring, rather picking up the next thing that God wants us to do.  It reminded me of an elderly woman I met several years ago who in her final days created a prayer blog.  She was an active leader in the senior care centre she resided praying for others, leading them to get to know Christ in their final days. At the time I met her she was 84 yrs old and at the time blogs were just emerging on the internet.  She wrote a book of her life in those final days – transcribing her message to one of her grandchildren. When she passed at the age of 88 yrs, she left behind a legacy of following the purpose of God in her life.  She truly LIVED for Him.  

We’re never too old to fulfill the purpose God has set for us.  God has taken a lifetime to teach me – my lifetime – and I am just getting started!
