However, you have hit the nail on the head by taking the time to implement it piece of piece.<br \/>\nMaxwell (2017) ask the question why do we want to lead. (pg. 1). the response he gave was that he hopes we are not working for power, &amp; prestige or wealth. (pg. 1).<br \/>\nThe driving force behind leadership is to influence others.<\/p>\n<p>Maxwell (2017) suggest five ways to put other first (pg 38-42).<br \/>\n1. Develop a greater appreciation for other people<br \/>\n2. ask to hear other people&#8217;s stories<br \/>\n3. Put your self in other people&#8217;s shoes<br \/>\n4. Place other people&#8217;s interest at the top of your list of priorities<br \/>\n5. Make winning a group activity.<\/p>\n<p>If we put others first, they will put us first. We must, therefore, build a relationship that creates this environment. Author James Hunter (2004) notes leadership is influencing people to willingly, even enthusiastically, contribute their heart, minds, creativity, excellence, and other resources towards mutually beneficial goals (pg. 46).<\/p>\n<p>I wish you success on this journey and that the teams you build will be successful.<\/p>\n<p>###Reference<\/p>\n<p>Hunter, J.
