My topic is Weird weather. Because I think with the progress of science and technology and the development of human civilization, many beautiful natural environments are slowly disappearing. This brings with it a lot of bad and weird weather, such as drought, heat dome, fires, atmospheric river. A large part of the reason for these weather conditions is due to human’s contempt for environmental protection. And one of God’s tasks for us is to take care of everything on earth, and here we are destroying it. And the nature is also the basis of our survival, we do not pay attention to the protection of the environment will only let ourselves bear the result.<\/p>\n

My work combines several weird weather events. First up at the bottom is a picture of the 2022 drought in Africa. On the left are bushfires in Australia. Above, thunderstorms in Shanghai, China. On the right is a volcanic eruption in Iceland. I put them all together into one piece. I hope you can see a lot of bad things happening on our planet through this combination of weird weather.<\/p>\n

When creating my works, I first used lines and shapes to complete my basic composition. Then I used the deep and shallow surface as the background of my work. My work also uses negative space to highlight some elements. My work is as Mimesis art. Every part of my work is a mirror of the real world, and that’s what I want to represent. Although my works are abstract, I think it is also can let the people feel the spirit because it is very realistic. These are accurate descriptions of the environment around us, and the terrible results we humans are facing.<\/p>\n
