The journal is committed to exploring the multiplicity of intersections between artistic theory\/practice and Christian faith. Although global in perspective, the journal features a Canadian emphasis. The journal is open to all connections of the arts and Christian faith, including the web of topics surrounding the journal title:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verge:<\/strong>\u00a0Verge as edge; a space for thoughtful, historically and critically informed cutting edge research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[con]verge:<\/strong>\u00a0Exploring the many times, places and ways that arts and Christian faith have converged and their diverse outcomes and influences on communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[di]verge:<\/strong>\u00a0The journal welcomes topics that diverge from accepted conceptions and histories of the many connections and conceptions of the arts and Christian faith.<\/p>\n<p><em>Verge<\/em>\u00a0is published annually, themed around the topic of the annual conference at TWU&#8217;s School of the Arts, Media + Culture. It welcomes scholarly articles, artist perspectives, and reviews of significant publications and artwork.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"peerReviewProcess\">\n<h3>Peer Review Process<\/h3>\n<p>Articles are peer reviewed by three reviewers selected by the editor.<\/p>\n<p>Reviewers judge submissions on their relevance to the journal topic, contribution to the field of inquiry, grasp of relevant literature, theoretical framework, and overall quality of writing.<\/p>\n<p>Review times fluctuate, but are typically two to three months.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"publicationFrequency\">\n<h3>Publication Frequency<\/h3>\n<p>Individual articles will be published soon after acceptance in final form.
