Hi everyone, my name is Ruiz.
Welcome to my space on the internet! I want to use this space to share the insights I gain as I proceed through my Master’s Degree in Leadership at Trinity Western University. In doing this, my goal is to improve my ability to communicate scholarly information to the online community as well as develop my internet savvy by producing content that’s creative, interesting and relatable.
I grew up and went to high school in Vancouver Island before moving to the city of Vancouver to complete my BA in Psychology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. My interests aside from my intellectual curiosity include playing basketball, weight training, running, hiking, exploring, watching/playing video games, or reading inside cafes among many other things. Topics that I’m keen on exploring range from finance, business, religions, tech, space, and scientific innovations.
I’m a firm believer in making the most with the time I have on this Earth which, to me, is by constantly improving myself physically, intellectually, and spiritually as well as leaving the world in a better place than when I came into it. It’s this core belief that lead me to pursue a better understanding of leadership as influence is key to driving the changes necessary to improve our society.
