The spiritual growth, i have seen within myself

Spiritual Growth - Reston Bible ChurchStudying at TWU has been a life-changing experience for me. First and foremost, the classes have enabled me to think more profoundly about cultures other than my own. I have learned more about Christianity and Islam, and as a result, I am more open-minded and welcoming of people from different backgrounds. Courses like HIST107 have helped me comprehend the beginnings of various religions and cultures, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. This has broadened my perspective on the globe and helped me understand the diversity of civilizations.

Moreover, TWU has helped me to deal with my anger issues, which used to be a significant problem for me. Prior to my studies, I used to get defensive and upset if someone criticized me, but courses like MCOM281 have taught me how to listen to feedback and handle criticism constructively. As a result, I am now more calm and composed in difficult situations. Furthermore, I have learned to convince people instead of just keeping my perspective to myself, thanks to courses like MCOM281.

In addition, TWU has made me pay more attention to my own religion and its teachings. I have learned to forgive people for their mistakes and to let go of grudges. I have also learned to focus on the present moment and not dwell too much on the past or future. Through courses like PHIL210, I have learned to live ethically and consider multiple perspectives. Group discussions and critical thinking exercises have helped me to be more aware of the impact of my actions on others and the world around me.

Furthermore, TWU has made me more sympathetic towards others. I have gained a deeper appreciation for the diversity of human experience and learned to understand people from different backgrounds. I have also become more patient and understanding towards my friends. Instead of getting angry or upset, I try to understand their perspective and wish them well. I am now able to be calm around my friend circle, where once I never had inner peace when they did something wrong.

Additionally, even though I have only taken online classes at TWU, I have learned a lot and hope to explore more when I come to the campus and meet people. Specifically, I would like to engage more in courses like RELS110 to deepen my understanding of religion and spirituality. Finally, the FNDN101 course has been particularly impactful for me. It has helped me to decide what is important to my life and given me an opportunity to think about my future goals. As a result, I am excited to see where my studies at TWU will take me in the future.

In conclusion, studying at TWU has been a transformative experience that has helped me to broaden my perspective, manage my emotions, live ethically, and appreciate the diversity of human experience. I am grateful for the knowledge and skills I have gained and look forward to continuing my journey of growth and development at TWU.
