Michael Ambery is completing a BA in Psychology at Trinity Western University. Preceding his present studies, he completed a diploma in Community, Family, and Child Studies and a certificate in Educational Assistance and Community Support, both at Camosun College, earning awards and an exceptional grade point average. He received the Andrea Van Rheenen EACS Certificate Award given to “someone who shows dedication and leadership in supporting people who have significant challenges, and through his/her actions, inspires others to see the ‘person within.’” Michael’s vocational aspirations pertain to helping others by means of supporting the development of insight and introspection, inner strength, and character. He complements his pursuit of understanding and supporting the “person within” by engaging in the arts: watercolour painting, calligraphy, and photography amongst other disciplines.
