My name is Mohsen and, I’m in the business stream. I’m from Iran or former Persia, in the Middle East. Due to political, societal and economic issues and living under totalitarian government, I left my homeland to have a better and brighter future in Canada. I found my future life so blurry that I couldn’t see it even by wearing optimistic spectacles. Thus, I made my first strategic decision in the nick of time because as I left my country, the situation exacerbated economically and politically in the wake of sanctions. The prices rocketed up making it difficult to live a normal life. Now after living one year in Canada, I’m so pleased to have made such a decision.
As I had applied to the MA TESOL program at Trinity, when I passed my PMP or ESL program, I changed my mind immediately and switched to MA Lead program. That decision for me has been a reasonable course of action because it has enabled me to know more about the world of leadership and interactions in the business settings. Moreover, this program helped me to integrate my psychology background into decision making and human behaviors as well as communications in the business world.
I’m glad that I can experience more and more in this program and am looking forward to taking more strategically actions for years to come.
