My name is Sarah Sommer, and I am a Secondary Education student at Trinity Western University in Canada. My specializations are English and Biology.

As a multilingual Swiss citizen who grew up in Cambodia, I have a passion for languages, cultures, and students with unique backgrounds. My dream job is to travel and teach in international settings around the world.

In the past I…

• Spent over 18 years of my life in an international setting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
• Spent eight weeks teaching at a refugee school in Lebanon
• Taught 5th/6th Grade Social Studies and Careers in German-speaking Switzerland for six months

I strive to be a teacher of compassion and perseverance who is prepared to adapt and learn alongside students in their journey. As an educator, it is my privilege teach the heart and mind of students, inspiring growth, creativity, and love in all areas of the classroom and life.

In my free time, I enjoy reading creative fiction, hiking in beautiful places, and travelling to visit friends around the world.
