What another neat activity! I find in my busy life that I am always so quick to take a picture and capture a moment, that I don’t get to tap into my artistic side. This activity let me be more creative, and playful with the pictures that I was taking. The place I choose for the photo shoot was at home, in the early hours of the morning, as this was the most convienient.
I really enjoyed both these photography exercises because in my day to day life I am preoccupied and busy with the kids, or work, so to step away and focus on something that I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to do, was so enjoyable. Other than the time limit, and wanting to do multiple pictures for each category, I found the experience worthwhile.
The photos that I feel worked the best, were the ones taken outside because the lighting in the morning was just perfect! My most inventive picture from the photo safari was probably the top view of my coral cactus. I get so many compliments on the plant, so taking a photo of the plant’s beauty from a different perspective felt innovative.

Hi Daneen,
I liked your excitement and response to this activity. I also like the photo’s you captured. The banana and lime had me chuckling to myself. Your outdoor shot of the plants with the nice light on them was great as well. Well done.
