The Front Page

The front entrance to your site should include a few sentences as a welcome to a visitor to your portfolio. A newly created one using the TWU Hearts theme contains some prompts for personalizing this welcome.

Change the front entrance text.

If you are logged into TWU Create, you will see a black menu bar at the top of the screen with an Edit Page menu item or you will see an Edit link below the welcome text and it’s title.

The area below the Newest Artifacts heading automatically displays your most recent artifacts. Once you start writing your artifacts (see below), you should delete the sample ones. In the next section, Customizing the Hearts Theme, you will to learn how to modify the display elements in this region of your portfolio’s front page.
