Week 5 Instructor Update

Well we made it to Reading Week!

If you are feeling like I am, it seems we have been at this for longer. (sigh)

But the good news is there are no posts required this week.

You may still need to work on other things in the course within your team environments.

Sunday @ 23:59:59, your Team Assignment 1 is due in the PressBooks environment.

You may also be starting your work on Team Assignment 2 in the coming week as well, if you have not started already.

As a reminder on your Team Assignment 2 I am re-posting the information from last week’s update.

Team Assignment 2

For Team Assignment 2, you require a completed consent form from the real time organization you wish to interview, before interviews begin. This is available in Moodle – Topic 0 – under the heading Team Assignment 2 Consent Materials.

The form only requires a signature and return to you before the interviews begin.

Once you receive the returned consent form, forward it to me via email so I can keep the record for TWU’s Ethics Review Board.

If your team decides to do a theoretical review by using public information gained from websites and other public documents, you do not need to obtain permission for the research you conduct. If you interview anyone in the organization you review, consent is required.

Next Saturday

I will post the requirements for your Week 6 BLOG posts and the ZOOM link to the November 5 opportunity to meet with me online to ask any questions you have as we progress through the course. I will meet online with you between  5 and 6:30 PST and allow local students wanting to meet Face to Face to meet in the Grad Collegium on the Trinity campus for 7 pm.

I am also available by email or on campus or ZOOM appointments if needed.
