TIME MANAGEMENT:
You prioritize your responsibilities and meet deadlines on time.
THIS SKILL IS GOOD TO PRIORITIZE IF…
You find you’re rushed and complete tasks at the last minute.
You have lots of things going on – in addition to your studies – and want maximize each opportunity.
You have relied on others to manage your time and now realize you need to take ownership of the process.

Love Lists
- Make a list of your priorities this semester – the items you can’t say no to.
- Break large assignments into smaller tasks and assign them due dates.
- Put all your due dates, classes, etc. into one calendar (Google calendar allows you to set up reminders).
Lark or Owl
- Discover when you’re most energized to focus on your studies and plan to work in those hours. For example, if you’re most energized in the morning, plan to work on specific assignments or studying then to maximize your productivity. Plan less essential activities around your specific study times.
Create a Rewarding Routine
- Create a daily routine: complete textbook readings the day before class, review notes after a class, and end the week reviewing all that you have learned.
- Make a daily goal of what you would like to accomplish.
- Reward yourself when you accomplish a task (i.e. go for a walk, Netflix, etc.).
