He is an Ordained Bishop of the Church of God and has over ten (10) years’ experience in pastoral ministry.

He hails from the parish of Kingston, Jamaica. He is the third of six children for Hector and Vashti Martin (Rev). He gave his heart to the Lord at 8 years old and followed in water baptism four years later at the Waltham Park NTCOG where he spent his formative years in ministry.

He served in various areas of ministry within the local assembly and later answered the call to the ministry where he obtained a Bachelor of Art in Theology with a minor in counseling. He also holds a diploma in Computer Technology from the Vectors Technology institution. Currently pursuing an MA in Leadership.

He is a purpose-driven individual and is gifted in the areas of Youth Ministries, Christian Education, Camp Ministries, Leadership Training and Technology.

While pastoring in Jamaica, he supervised the Juan-de-bolas and Point Hill New Testament church of God in upper west St. Catherine up. He also worked with one of Jamaica’s largest Financial institution – Jamaica National Building Society where he served in various capacity but primarily in the field of Information Technology.

In addition, he has also served as counselor for at-risk youths, Multimedia Ministry Director, national church website manager, national youth ministry volunteer, National camp Ministry board member, chairperson for the new harbour village1, Phase 2 community , Chaplin for the Old harbour bay football club, a member of several school boards and Ministers Fraternal.

Rev. Martin has dedicated his life to the building up of the Kingdom of God and the communities in which he lives and serves through the faithful proclamation of the word. He has an unwavering passion for God and a strong desire to see lives changed for better.

He migrated to Canada over 4 years ago, where he has continued to serve his church and community. He served as a member of the Etobicoke Community Council, Chaplin for the Pathfinders of Canada and Director for Information Technology & Media ministry at the West Toronto Church of God, where he was the District Youth Pastor in Toronto. He has worked with companies like Compugen Inc, Scotiabank, JN Money Services to name a few.

As an entrepreneur, he currently works for Remote Support Inc. A company he started 3 years ago. Specializing in website development, Servers management, Service Desk Support, PC Repairs etc.

He moved to Calgary over a year ago with his family to enjoy the spoils of the land, where can enjoy the outdoors.

Rev. Martin shares his life with his wife of nine (12) years, Nicola. The union has produced two sons, Elijah-Juan & Eliam-Josiah Martin.
