Hi Lillian, you have presented a great insight into TSL. It is true that the development of people is often got ignored while regulating strategic direction for an organization. I have seen that in my country and leaders seek people’s help rather than serving the people. I think it is really hard to change their perspectives regarding TSL. TSL is the combination of Transformational Leadership and servant leadership. They both have one primary focus for their followers. TSL motivates their followers with their charisma to attain a common goal. They inspire them and serve as a role model.
Transformational servant leadership gives specific attention to how people are valued and empowered while also creating shared decision-making responsibility and authority over policy, program, and delivery systems, contributing to optimal organizational performance outcomes or results (Imbenzi, Williaume, & Page, 2013).
When a goal is shared between TSL and their followers, they work together to attain that goal. They learn and share their knowledge, listen, communicate independently, build trust, help each other to grow and learn new skills according to the changes in the organization and all these are part of the strategic process.
I really wish to see TSL being practiced in my country where people can also grow with the growth of the organization.

Hi Swaranjeet;
You have respond to the post with a factual response to your observations.
To deepen the responses you post try adding examples to illustrate what you are saying.
For example:
You state in the paragraph quote from Imbenzi, Williaume, & Page, 2013:
Transformational servant leadership gives specific attention to how people are valued – stating how they are valued through TSL adds to the observation.
Empowered – stating how they are empowered through TSL adds to the observation.
while also creating shared decision-making responsibility – stating how they are creating shared decision-making responsibility through TSL adds to the observation.
authority over policy – stating how they act with authority over policy through TSL adds to the observation.
program – stating how they act with authority over program through TSL adds to the observation.
delivery systems – stating how they influence delivery systems through TSL adds to the observation.
contributing to optimal organizational performance outcomes or results – stating how they contribute to optimal organizational performance outcomes or results through TSL adds to the observation.
Just taking the time to think through real time or observations in practice can add to a post and provide examples of how theory works in real time, thus deepening the conversation.
Otherwise it is simply quoted material anyone can find with a little research.
