  1. Tianyu, good start with these drawings. Since they are each to be an 1 hour long, the expectation is for the drawings to be layered and increasingly accurate. None are resolved enough for a 1 hour drawing period. For example intuitive gesture starts with a gesture but then uses sighting techniques to correct, adding more and more accurate layers until a very accurate and concrete form results. The one you have labeled intuitive gesture looks more like angles and intersections. This drawing is a good start but the feet and legs are wildly out of proportion. Trust your eyes and do not name as you draw. Extended arm shows good perspective but no layers building solidity or mass or accuracy. Two pencils similarly is a good start but no layering towards accuracy. Haptic drawing looks like a gesture. Please reread the instructions. The goal with all these drawings is to use a wide range of marks to build accurate form. You are building some expressive marks but are not yet using the marks to find an accurate solid form. Perhaps zoom in farther and do not try to draw the whole body, but rather a smaller portion of the form.
