Tianyu, I like how you have positioned the feet. The upper foot is coming along well, it is solid and accurate. The point where the toe connects to the ground plane is a bit awkward. The lower foot, however, is anatomically very problematic. Particularly the big toe and fleshy pad needs a redo. Improve the anatomy by reworking the lower sole of the foot. Check out the negative spaces above and below the foot, and lengthen the distance between the heel and the toes. This assignment is to be a finished composition that includes an imaginary prosthetic device–what you have drawn is a reasonable anatomy study of feet, but it is a poor composition. You can improve this composition by considering the whole paper edge to edge. Use negative space more actively to make the form more accurate but also to create compositional unity. Use similar marks all throughout your drawing to help unify the whole. Remember to use your eraser as a drawing tool, using closure to connect the figure with the ground. Consider creating a more complex figure ground relationship. Use the entire range of tone. Use both dissolved edges and crisp black edges.
