Light from many Lamps
Taking reference from a story of light from many lamps by Watson E. Lillian (1988) “Let Me Not Neglect Any Kindness, For I Shall Not Pass This Way Again”(pg. 191). These are the powerful words which are not originally belonged to author rather this quote has been mentioned by a large number of writers and philosophers. It has a very deep meaning and a bitter truth of life. It describes a simplified meaning that time never waits for anyone, nor stops. It goes on and on. If a person neglect anything and skips anything on a particular time, that moment can never be returned back to you.

Being a student I have seen many opportunities which I missed due to my own fault and neglecting nature. With time I get to know more about this and starts doing things on time which is necessary too. The author here wants to convey any good deed, any thing for humanity, if you want to do you should do it now rather it’s been so late. As, mentioned in the book light from many lamps of Watson E. Lillian (1988) “any kindness that I shall show to any human being , let me do it now. Dale Carnegie calls it one of the basic requirements for happiness in life. He urges to cut out this reading and paste it where you can read it on daily basis”. For a leader it is necessary to be kind for the will of workers and to be kind on time. It does not mean a leader to show kindness after it is too late and there will be no point of that kindness anymore.
There is a short poetry mentioned in light from many lamps of Watson E. Lillian (1988) by Dickinson E. which took my heart
” If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robindeed
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain”(pg. 193).
What according to you is the kindness a person should show and important for a leader towards their organisation and also if you can share an experience of your kindness or any good deed you have done for the human mankind.
