Must Have Resources

Bellow you’ll find an amalgam of different resources that I wish I would have had when I started youth ministry.

  1. County Wide Scavenger Hunt: Scavenger Hunt County 2021
  2. Fair Scavenger Hunt: Fair Scavenger Hunt 2019
  3. Coat Drive Flyer: Coat Drive
  4. Youth Ministry Volunteer Form: Youth Leaders Statement and background check
  5. Student Info Sheet: Info Sheet
  6. Example Permission Slip: Youth Permission Slip
  7. Worship Handbook: Worship Handbook
  8. Youth Pastor Description: Youth Pastor Description
  9. Preaching Schedule: Feb-April, April-May
  10. Baptism study: Baptism Class
  11. Video study resource list: Favorite Video Resources
    • It’s important to note that there are SO MANY RESOURCES available. I make sure to watch all my videos and go thorough all my studies BEFORE presenting them to my students. There have been times I’ve had to skip an episode because they take a different theological position than we do; there have been many studies I’ve scratched out when doing research because they just aren’t Biblically based, so be careful what you put in front of your kids!

Last two things I’ve found helpful to keep are:
1. A record of who attends youth group. Won’t attach example for privacy reasons, but you can make a spreadsheet on Excel.

2. A list of games. A good youth pastor will have a list of games memorized and ready to go!

A good place to go for games is Youth Ministry Great Games on YouTube.
