Welcome to Leadership Foundations!

I’m so excited you have chosen to challenge yourself academically, personally, professionally, and spiritually by enrolling in this master’s program. I know you will inquire, learn, discover, and grow during this learning journey.

As we learn together, we’ll discover the rich experience among our colleagues in this course. You will also dive deeply into leadership development research and theory, through the learning activities that challenge you to integrate your scholarship and practice. Please share openly and regularly — it will greatly enhance the learning experience for all of us and make for meaningful, rich, and diverse discoveries.

In this unit,  you will complete five learning activities including: a personal inventory, reading about leadership theory, beginning your blog and responding to the posts of at least two other learners.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. If you’re struggling with something  and can’t seem to figure it out, please don’t wait too long and get frustrated. Instead, ask for help! This course moves quickly and I’d rather help you get it sorted out instead of you losing steam!
