How to foster Recognition and sense of belonging for women in an organization

After taking the gender implication association test I found a difference of time between two of 17 seconds. I am a man who always supports women and feels they are better than men in every field when given an equal opportunity. But after taking the test I found myself to be more supportive of male leadership, which is quite shocking for me too.

For an organization to be successful it is necessary to involve women in many posts and jobs as I think they are more hardworking and least distracted with other things came in their path. There are many steps that can be taken to foster recognition and sense of belonging for a woman in an organization.

  • Initially, equal opportunities of positions and jobs should be made available for both male and female which helps in creating a suitable working environment for women as in place of a single woman there can be many working together. All the rights should be preserved for both without any biasing. Image result for equal opportunities for man and woman
  • Equal opportunity for promotion should be made for both as the one working hard should be given promotion without thinking of how a woman can lead a group of men in an organization because they know their job well and should be given equal chance which fosters their recognition in an organization.
  • Involvement of a large number of women helps in creating a peaceful working environment for them. Women should also be made eligible to know each and every decision taken by an organization and what is the final output of the work they are doing. There should be right to know in an organization and if any woman wants to do what they actually love they should be allowed without imposing for doing them something else. This can actually indeed create a sense of belonging among women in an organization. Image result for benefits of involving large number of women in an organisation

What according to you will be the other ways to foster their recognition and do you really think that in today’s world which has changed a lot from past for woman, still have insufficiency and not a suitable environment for a woman working for an organization?
