Response to Sea breeze response to Advancing the organization by conflict resolution
Thank you for sharing your views Sea breeze, I wish you luck for your endeavors and hope your events are a success.
My job demands are standing for extended hours, talking to people and facing rejections which sometimes can be discouraging and depressing. A constant reminder of our purpose and values helps us to stand for what we believe in, not give up and work against all the odds.
These meetings are constructive and valuable and at the same time flexible as well. It is not mandatory to have the check-in at the designated time slot. We can alter it depending on our schedule with prior information to the manager. Also, these meetings are within the work hours, so we get paid for them.
There are a number of factors that lead to the success of a fundraiser, and there is a format we follow during the conversations. For instance, someone might be facing issues with handling the concerns of potential donors or lacking a way to inspire them to take actions on their beliefs. Recognition of the same helps us to work better on the incompetent part.
The organization understands that sometimes numbers are just beyond your control. PIP is a flexible program as well, so, even if someone fails to reach the desired goal, they consider their overall journey and commitment to their work. However, for some reason, if the person is continually not performing, there is a possibility that they might get fired.
I understand that putting in all efforts to make something successful and not getting recognition for the same can be discouraging. The principal should acknowledge the fact, and if for some reason the efforts are not being recognized, perhaps the teachers can bring that up in the staff meeting and appreciate their coworker.
