Your LNAP Event Line-Up – February 24

The Norma Marion Alloway Library and Learning Commons is staying open till midnight for Long Night Against Procrastination (LNAP).

LNAP comes on the Monday right after the February Reading Break. So, whether you take a break from reading or for reading, the Long Night Against Procrastination will give you a jump start on the busy last half of the term.

Your LNAP event line-up includes:

6:00 – 8:00 pm           Career Counselling
6:00 – 11:30 pm        Moodle & WordPress Support
6:00 – 11:30 pm       Research Help Desk
6:00 – 11:30 pm       Writing Centre
7:00 – 8:00 pm          Explore TWU Archives
7:00 – 9:30 pm          Therapy Dogs

In addition, we will be serving coffee, tea and snacks!

What to expect at LNAP? There will be Research Help, extra hours for the Writing Centre,  Learning Commons support staff, de-stressing activities, therapy dogs, coffee and treats!

TONIGHT Learn how to deal with procrastination at LNAP’s Relax Lounge

Feeling behind? Need some tips on getting over the procrastination?

Come to the Wellness Centre’s relax lounge from 6:30 – 8:30 where you can chat with Wellness Centre’s interns , relax, and get some practical tips on dealing with the anxiety of procrastination.

Master of Counselling Psychology students Cami  and Shawna are transforming Study Room 211 into “a super informal, relaxing space with a scent diffuser, pillows, and  handouts on stress / worry / anxiety.” Cami adds, “As students come in, we can chat with them about what they feel they need regarding worry.”

The Long Night Against Procrastination is tonight February, 25 at Alloway Library from 6:30 – midnight. Come in for an evening of special guides to help you get your work done.  You don’t need to register, but feel free to let us know you are coming through our Facebook event page.

Your last chance to procrastinate

We hope you are having a great Reading Break! When you get back to campus on Monday, February 25 the Long Night Against Procrastination will be ready  to get you back into the academic swing of things for the short, fast ride to the end of the term.
