Winnie is part of Advising Coordinator Colleen Hansen’s family and they both will be at the Long Night Against Procrastination on Monday October 15 from 6-9 pm. Winnie is coming to help you get motivated in the struggle against procrastination.
How can this adorable Airedale terrier help you? Make a plan. Choose from two time-proven options which I call Ready, set go or Work and play.
Ready, set, go might work if you are feeling stressed about tacking a project. Commit yourself to spending a limited time with Winnie to de-stress and not think about work, then, after one last nuzzle, launch into your task feeling refreshed.
Or
Work and play might work if you get motivated by rewards. Commit yourself to doing a specific amount of work, then reward yourself with some quality time with Winnie. Bonus – you may feel refreshed enough to launch another cycle of work!
Want to know more about Winnie? Also known as is Winnie Wiggle-Bum, Win-Win-Win, Pooch Magoo, and Winsome Winnie, she has an extreme zest for life, bringing happiness to all around her. She loves walks with people, rub downs on her back and tummy, and drinking water straight from the hose. (Alloway Library permits drinks in covered containers only – sorry Winnie.)
