There are lots of reasons why you should plan on going to the  Long Night Against Procrastination at Alloway Library on the Monday, February 25. If you missed the fall LNAP, here’s a top ten list of reasons to go, based on what other students’ experiences in the fall:

  1. Feeling less stressed because of the feeling that I had “extra” time.
  2. Having people to study with till the dire hours of the night
  3. I felt so motivated to do work. I love/ appreciate the services that were offered. Thank you Norma for doing this!
  4. Being in an environment that cultivates healthy work motivation.
  5. Learning to use library databases.
  6. Coming out feeling productive.
  7. The supportive staff, both library staff and additional staff who attended made this experience worthwhile. I am a commuter who came after a full evening. If this event happened again, I would come (and that is saying a lot!)
  8. I like the stress reduction centres.
  9. It was really great having dogs in the library and that fact that I was aware that there were people to help and people who cared about providing academic help!
  10. 95% of survey respondents said LNAP met or exceeded their expectations.

So, enjoy your reading break – the Long Night Against Procrastination will be here for you when you get back!
